How to take care of a croton bell house plant?

I have already heard of opinions to take care of this plant. I would apreciate more input to the care of this plant becuase this plant is starting to wilt big time. I have transplanted into a bigger pot when i got it home and also watered it good.

They do best when they get 4 or more hours of direct sunlight a day. The night temp should be 65-70 deg F. Daytime: 75-85 is ideal. The leaves drop off in a draft especially in winter. Keep soil barely moist at all times--not wet. Fert with a 5-10-5 in March and May and not for the rest of the year. All-purpose potting soil is fine.
Reply:Crotons need bright light. It doesn't need to be in a really sunny window, but some direct sun with plenty of bright indirect light is best. The other important thing is to let them dry out between waterings. Stick your finger into the soil and when the top 2-3 inches are dry, water thoroughly. Wilting is often (not always) caused by overwatering.
